Why Podium Exists
If you've ever tried to find results from a club race, track down an upcoming event, or work out which championship a mate is competing in, you'll know the problem. The information is out there — it's just scattered across dozens of club websites, timing provider pages, social media groups, and PDF documents that haven't been updated since last season.
The Problem
UK grassroots motorsport is brilliant. Hundreds of clubs, thousands of events every year, competitors giving everything they've got on tracks and stages across the country. But the way that information reaches people? That hasn't kept up.
Results are buried in timing systems that only insiders know how to navigate. Events are announced on Facebook pages you have to already follow. Championship standings live in spreadsheets emailed to a mailing list. If you're not already deep in the scene, good luck finding any of it.
What Podium Does
Podium brings it all together. One app where you can find race results, browse upcoming events, discover clubs, follow championship standings, catch up on news, and buy or sell parts. We aggregate information from across UK motorsport and present it in a way that actually makes sense — whether you're a seasoned competitor or someone who's just getting interested.
Crucially, we're not trying to replace anything. Every result links back to the timing provider. Every event points to the organiser. Every club listing drives people to their website. Podium is a front door, not a walled garden — we amplify the existing ecosystem rather than competing with it.
Who We Are
Podium is built by motorsport enthusiasts who got tired of the workaround. We've spent years navigating the patchwork of club websites, timing pages, and social media groups — and we thought it was time someone pulled it all into one place.
This isn't a corporate venture or a Silicon Valley startup. It's a project born out of genuine love for the sport and a belief that grassroots racing deserves better visibility. The people competing at club level every weekend are putting in serious effort — their results and stories should be easy to find.
Where We're Heading
Our goal is straightforward: make it so that every club racer's results are easy to find, every championship gets the attention it deserves, and every newcomer can discover what's happening in UK motorsport without needing a PhD in web archaeology.
We're currently in development, working closely with organisers and data providers to make this happen. If that sounds like something you'd want to be part of — as a partner, a competitor, or just someone who loves motorsport — we'd love to hear from you.
